Creating Fitness Magic!

 

We offer a diversity of water and land sports activities while building a strong foundation in a lifetime of safety, health and enjoyment. We splash summertime magic into every camper's memory!
The camp is best suited for children from eight to 17 years of age.

 

Camp Focus

Our camps focus on both Instruction and Recreation:

Instruction
 
  • Swimming, cycling and running fundamentals and techniques
  • Competitive race turns in all three sports including transitions 
  • Warming up and stretching 
  • Recovery fundamentals 
  • Water and land exercise basics and routines 
  • Introduction to safety 
  • Two to three workouts daily 
  • Coaching 
  • Rough water swimming techniques
  • Track workouts 
  • Road & trail running
  • Bike rides
  • Fix a flat 
  • Injury prevention
  • Nutrition tips, hydration, sun and skin
  • Lectures
  • Slide shows
  • Games and rest times

Camp participants have the option of joining the club at anytime during the summer. Campers are invited to do the hour-long practice with the club in place of the hour-long session with Camp. The Club is an eight-to-10 week program at an additional charge.

Camp Fun

 

Make new friends
Meet others who love the multi-sport environment just as much as you do. You will share experiences that you will remember forever and make new friends for life in a positive and healthy environment.
 
Camp Areas and Game Room
These are areas set up for campers to recover from physical activity, replenish fluids and fuels, rejuvenate energy stores, and get out of the sun. This is also the place to relax with and get to know fellow campers. Enjoy ping-pong, foosball, checkers, board games, card games, crafts, art projects, snacks and drinks.
 

 

Skill Levels & Requirements

 

A program for your age and skill level
The camp is designed to develop skills at each sport and every level. The head coach and staff are experienced in creating age-appropriate experiences, and campers are grouped into skill levels to ensure progression through the week.
 
Beginner
Emphasis on fundamentals, injury prevention and safety, and on making triathlons a part of a healthy lifestyle.
 
Recreational
Introduction to new skills and training techniques to increase overall physical benefits and enjoyment of all three disciplines (swim, bike and run).
 
Competitive
Includes high level instruction and the latest in strategic techniques to help achieve personal bests.

 
Initial requirements for participation
Athletes must pass the following minimum requirements:
25 yard swim non-stop
Quarter mile run non-stop
Half to 1 mile non-stop bike ride
(Testing distances may vary according to age group)

Sample Daily Schedule
  • Creative and traditional stretching and strengthening exercises
  •  Swim, Bike and Run fundamentals or a session on one of the sports
  •  Snack and game room recovery time (snack from home)
  •  Land games in game room or outdoors
  • Lecture or land specific workouts like transitions and others
  • Snacks
  • Pre-training and safety instruction in all disciplines (swim, bike and run)
  • Structured sports games such as relays at the track
  • Lectures
  • Daily wrap up

 

Camp Fees & Registration

 

Fees

1st Camper $260 per week
2nd Camper discount: $230
3rd Camper discount: $200
Camps are limited to 30 campers!
 
Registration
Please visit the Pardee Aquatics Center office to register for the camp.
 
Refund/Credit Policy
Registered participants are entitled to a full refund 20 days before the start of camp.
Registered participants are entitled to a full refund minus a $100 fee with a camp cancellation 14 days before the start of camp.
Refunds will not be given to registered participation with a cancellation 14 days or less before the start of camp.
 
 
Healthy snacks are available at our Healthy Snack Shop!!!
