AFTER-SCHOOL

Ages: 5-12
It is our goal to enable all youth to participate in the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. We will turn no child away, so please inquire about our scholarship opportunities when registering your child. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Typical day of our after-school program
3:00 - 3:15: Check In/ Announcements/Pick-ups
3:15 - 3:30: Snack
3:30 - 4:30: Power Hour - Homework help or educational activities
4:30 - 5:15: Kid's Choice (Children will have the option to choose between various activities. Activities include sports, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, computer lab, games room activities, and educational activities such as cooking classes and science experiments)
5:15 - 6:00: Indoor Activities

Skyline: $199/month or $85 5-day pass
Solana Vista: $265/monthly pricing only
 
Jazzercise

Each 60-minute session includes a warm-up, 30-minute aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening using weights and a full-body stretch. The class features fresh choreography incorporating Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, jazz dance, and ballet. Classes are held six days a week, visit www.carmelvalleyjazz.com

 


KINDER CLUB
Kinder Club is a unique program just for kindergartners with a low staff to child ratio. Your child will be greeted each afternoon outside their classroom and escorted back to the Boys and Girls Club for an fun filled afternoon. Each afternoon will consist of an arts and crafts project, a game, a weekly cooking class, and an outdoor activity all based around a weekly theme.

Typical day of our KinderCare program
1:15 - 1:30: Pick-up/Light snack
1:30 - 2:00: Inside Games
2:00 - 2:30: Art Project
2:30 - 3:00: Outdoor Games
 

Fees:
 

Kinder Care: $145/month (1:15- 3:00) or $345/month (1:15-6:00)

The Teen Leader in Training Program

The Teen Leader in Training Program (L.I.T.) is designed for 7th and 8th graders to have a fun and productive place to go after school and have fun as well as giving back to their community. L.I.T.’s will participate in a unique  program mentoring younger children and assisting staff. Teens will spend their first hour here at the club with full access  to all the club has to offer. Then they will spend their time assisting run the       computer lab, sports, arts and crafts, and homework. It is a great way to hang out with friends afterschool and make new ones in the process. It’s great work experience and it also gives L.I.T.’s documentation to be  utilized  for school requirements.

Our Clubhouse Features

The 3,000 square foot clubhouse includes:
  • Technology Center: Equipped with computers, printers, scanners and supporting software, this room is used for technological pursuits such as internet use and web page development.
  • Arts Center: Filled with a variety of tables and storage space, this room is used for arts and crafts projects, social gathering, and other activities
  • Multi-Purpose Room: Equipped with a variety of games for all ages and skill levels. Allowing for quick set up offers space for a variety of extracurricular activities.
  • Learning Center: This is a quiet space where children can study, do homework, read for pleasure, and participate in educational games. There are reference and study materials.
  • Surveillance Cameras: To ensure the safety of our members, cameras have been placed throughout the clubhouse.
