AFTER-SCHOOL
 

The Club, which serves the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area features a games room, arts & crafts room, an education room for doing homework and receiving tutoring, high-tech computer lab and new Teen Center. full size Additionally, the club has a full-size gymnasium for athletics and a wide variety of fitness activities. The Polster Branch offers an After-School Program that serves 5-15 year olds. Our trained professional staff incorporates Arts& Crafts, Sports & Rec. Games, and Tech Lab into our daily schedule. We offer an after-school homework lab for all students that attend along with an after-school Power Tutor program that offers tutoring to Carmel Valley Middle School students. At the Polster Branch we also have a separate teen center and a volunteer program for youth ages 16 & up.

Typical day of our after-school program
3:00 - 3:15: Check In
3:15 - 3:30: Snack/Announcements
3:30 - 4:30: Power Hour
4:30 - 5:00: Rotation 1
5:00 - 5:30: Rotation 2
5:30 - 5:50: Rotation 3


During Rotations, children are involved in different activity stations ranging from Arts & Crafts, Tech Lab, Sports, Rec. Games, Cooking, and Science.
Children that need more time and assistance in completing homework may continue with Power Hour during Rotation time.

K-6th grade
Carmel Del Mar, Carmel Creek or Solana Pacific: $199/month or $85/5-day pass
Sycamore Ridge or Solana Highlands or Ashley Falls: $265/month
Sage Canyon, Torrey Hills or Ocean Air $265/month

Teens (Grades 7-12 only)
7th-10th grade After School Program: $85/month
11th & 12th grade Volunteer Program: Membership required. See Branch Director for application

For Carmel Valley Middle School students.
Work with qualified tutors that will help you succeed.
Providing after school tutoring Monday through Thursday during the school year from 3:15 to 4:45pm.

Fitness Classes For All

 

Aikido

Learn to Have Confidence in Your Own Body & Compassionate Respect for Others
from Two Internationally Certified Yoshinkan Aikido Teachers with a combined experience of over 30 years.
 

Children’s Classes:

 

Monday, Wednesday:  6:00-6:50pm

Saturday:  11:00-11:50am

*Classes are split into age groups to maximize learning.

Monthly Fee $50

 

Adult Classes:

 

Monday, Wednesday:  7:00-8:00pm

Saturday:  12:00-1:30pm

Monthly Fee $70

*Family Discount- if more than one family member enrolls in either adult or children’s classes a discount is available, ask an instructor for details.

Jazzercise

Each 60-minute session includes a warm-up, 30-minute aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening using weights and a full-body stretch.   • Pre-team (age 6 - 10) - Mon/Wed 6 - 8pm by Invitation

USA Freestyle Karate

The Boys & Girls of San Dieguito is offering Karate lessons. Every parent wants their children to succeed in life. The life skills needed for this are self-esteem, respect, and personal discipline.USA Freestyle Martial Arts brings out these very special qualities in children.
