Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent. It is in those first years of school that children form their self-confidence, social skills, learning habits and fundamental intellectual skills.

Our Montessori School is committed to preparing children for lifelong learning by teaching cooperation, challenging intellects, nurturing the desire to learn and engendering self-confidence. This happens in an environment that is fun, rewards curiosity and where the teachers care deeply about the development of the whole child.

The Montessori method also embodies our goal of respecting each child's individualized pattern of growth. At our Montessori school, children actively pursue interests and answers at their own pace, developing independent thinking skills and self-confidence.

Our teachers function in the classrooms as guides and mentors, providing materials appropriate to the interest and capability of each student, while keeping the level of challenge high. The multi-age classrooms provide opportunities for collaborative learning, fostering cooperation and a strong sense of community.

Our children will grow up in a time of powerful and constant change. They will have before them many opportunities and many choices. We can best prepare them by giving them the tools to learn, time to practice and apply new skills, and inspiration to discover and develop the unique talents that are their own.

Mailing List

We have a mailing list for the following school year, which runs from either July or September 2009 through June 2010. Enrollment packets were mailed out earlier this year; it's first come, first served to bring the completed registration form back in to the school office with the applicable fees to hold a desired position, providing that it is still available at that time.
