Art Studio

Ongoing art classes offered through the Youth Arts Academy, San Dieguito

A teacher-guided open studio format, where students are introduced to and are encouraged to
explore various media including painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Each class will
focus on a medium or process and students will be introduced to various reference materials
and artists working within that medium as a means of inspiring original work by the students.
These classes will encourage imaginative thinking and self-expression while strengthening
creative skills and techniques.

Printmaking

Printmaking Class Has Been Canceled, Please Check Back For A New Schedule

Uncover the possibilities of printmaking in this exciting exploratory class.

We will design and carve intricate stamps to print and share with friends and
family and create unique artwork using a variety of printmaking techniques
including monoprints, collography and traditional linoleum prints done
without a press. All processes are water-based and non-toxic.
